Ingredients: Ghana Fresh palm nut cream is used when preparing soups and stews. Made from pure palm fruit, the cream is an essential ingredient in the making of banga soup.
There are different versions of this soup in Ghana and Nigeria, however it’s typically made by cooking palm fruit concentrate with spices, smoked fish, shrimps, beef and chillies. The soup can be served with rice or eba. Eba is a staple food in Nigeria made from gari and hot water, then formed into balls and served alongside soups and stews.
